Mobility package
With the introduction of the mobility package and the changes it carries, it is necessary to update the software of 3D Tacho devices so that they support the latest tachographs. We describe how to do this step by step below. Devices under warranty are updated for free. Ask your dealer about the cost of updating your device after warranty.
How to update 3D Tacho?
To update the 3D Tacho to support the smart tachographs V2, follow these steps:
- Download the 3D Tacho Updater, install it on your computer. Once you have connected and updated your device, the Updater will enable you to see the device ID and serial number.
- Send an email to info@tekson.eu with your device ID and serial number. In response, you will receive a 6-digit activation code from us.
- Follow the instructions in the 3D Tacho Updater. Enter the received 6-digit activation code at the appropriate place and your device will be updated.
